Finished on 10.March.2004 - Another all-nighter of mouse coloring in PhotoImpact. the girl herself was painted at 1155x1800 - So I may post her again later (if peeps seem to like this one) as another deviation.

FYI - The sketch reminded me of a character of mine, and since he didn't seem overly attached to it, I asked Cyrus if I could color - and anyway...

So, I made this an aquatic elf (half aquatic elf/half wood elf character of mine from AD&D2) who possesses a bow named Dementia. As the name suggests, the bow imparts confusion and madness. It's made of liquid, black silver that reflects starlight even during the day, and it echoes in the mind of it's owner a thousand voices of old victims and previous wielders... yaddah yah. The water - is Ossa, a layer of the plane of Arborea in Planescape. The armor... is supposed to be leathery in my head.

Okay, anyway, I know this is a big pic and - well, rediculously so. I'm sorry. But the concept took me, and I've been up all night, so I felt entitled to complete the idea.
Ack! I hope this isn't horrible. All comments are welcome, and critiques are miserable things that I ask for anyway because they help me learn... so feel free to rip this apart! Make me learn! Teeheehee! And thanks for looking!
